Just made my first run to around 14 days. I started in Riverside (I know) and recently loaded up a step van with a bunch of tools, a water cooler, and about 30 kilos of canned food and headed to where I thought would be a good base location for long term survival. It's the 2 small warehouses out in the sticks between Muldraugh and Riverside ... I’ve been playing in Rosewood and so far there are 2 bases I like. One is the fire station. It’s got 2 floors, plenty of storage and space, close to the main city, and a fence around 3/4 of the place. The other are 2 houses in the most south east part of the rosewood map that have a lot of open area. The police station/gas station is a good spot but crowded spawns. So my favorite starting location on (private) Servers is on the spit of land after the bridge, east of Westpoint. The 3 sides of water make it relatively safe and easy to defent while beeing really close to one of the best loot spots on the map. 1. The Project Zomboid playable map is massive!
