One camp is remove the Pilot Air Jet. The next camp is leave the Pilot Air jet in , and the 3rd camp goes with a total change in jetting going with a 200 Pilot ...To check if yours is bad set the petcock to the on position and remove the fuel line. If the fuel line keeps dripping out gas that means that the petcock is failing. The carb should keep it from overlowing. Which means that either the float is not set properly or the float needle valve went bad.My question to you, the viewer is this: How in Gods green earth does one remove and or install a carb on a 2000 drz 400?
